Frequently asked questions

Yes, and it's work I genuinely care about. I design websites for therapists, LPCs, LCSWs, BCBAs, behavioral analysts, and other professional helpers. I understand the ethics, the boundaries, and the specific trust your clients need to feel before they ever book a session. That shapes everything I build.

I take the details seriously, because I know you have to. I'll always ask for your full professional title and license number so it lives in your site footer where it's easy to find. This isn't a universal requirement (rules vary by state and license type!), but it's widely considered best practice and helps establish trust with potential clients. When in doubt, check with your state licensing board!
I also build out a state-specific (where applicable) Client Privacy and Policy page that covers things like confidentiality and its legal limits, mandated reporting obligations, HIPAA compliance, electronic communication and telehealth disclosures, and website privacy practices. You bring the content, I make sure it's presented clearly and professionally. If you'd like a Good Faith Estimate page on your site, I can add that too!
One important note: I'm a designer and marketer, not an attorney! I'll do my best to make sure everything looks and reads well, but I always recommend having a lawyer review any legal language before your site goes live.

That's completely okay — and honestly, it's the most common place people start. You don't need to have it figured out before reaching out. A free consult is just a conversation to get oriented together.

Yes. I build on Squarespace specifically because it's intuitive enough for you to update on your own without a developer. I'll walk you through the basics before we wrap up, and I'm happy to answer questions after launch.

You won't be asked to micromanage, but this is collaborative work. You know your clients and your practice better than anyone. I'll guide the process, ask thoughtful questions, and handle execution while keeping you informed every step of the way.

It depends on the size of the build and how quickly we can align on direction. Small sites typically take 3–4 weeks. Medium and large sites can run 5–7 weeks. I'll give you a clearer timeline after our consult.

The audit is for people who already have a website and want honest, prioritized feedback, not a full rebuild. You'll walk away knowing exactly what's working, what's getting in the way, and what to tackle next. A redesign starts from scratch (or close to it). Not sure which one you need? The audit is usually a great place to start.

Therapists and clinicians are my primary focus right now, but I'm open to other mission-driven, people-centered work. If your practice is values-led and you want a website that reflects that, we'll likely be a good fit. Reach out and we'll figure it out together.
